My baby is one month old, Is it too late for newborn photography?

You may have noticed that most photographer only offer a photo shoot when babies are less than two weeks old, and the main reason is that, babies are sleepy enough to be posed and handled easily during that period and there is still a chance to reschedule the session in a case that baby is not co operating during the session. and also there are poses that can be done only in that period due to the flexibility of a newborn's body to be shaped or wrapped properly.

But is that mean you cannot take newborn photos when you miss golden period?

or what if you CAN’T get baby in during her first two weeks after birth?

If, for some reason, you weren’t able to schedule a newborn session when your baby was one to two weeks old, don’t worry. 1 month old baby photos are just as beautiful, sweet, and treasured keepsakes.

A professional and experienced photographer, would be able to capture some amazing photos of a newborn and set up some props for older babies and create an astonishing images of your baby, although they might not be able to do some special poses like bum up or froggy. Therefore, your gallery may include more awake photographs of your baby than a gallery with a younger baby.

At the end this is your final decision that what do you like to see in your babies gallery, if you are more in to sleepy and posed photos, then it's better to arrange your session accordingly otherwise you can either have a nice gallery of your one or two month old baby as well.
